the cities itself can experience accumulations but some of the suburbs did report about an inch of snowfall. all gone. cape cod, a little snow left over. but even temperatures there aren't too bad. so what are we dealing with in the future. right now, we're watching cooler air pooling up through the hudson bay. right now, we're not seeing cold weather anywhere in the country. it's really not that bad for the middle of february. but this shot of cold air comes down. see that purple color highlighted there. it sneaks down from the north. it's not like that blast we saw three or four weeks ago, but it will have cha chunk of air with it. as far as the storm, because of that cold air off the east coast, that's where the storm is going to go. chilly in areas like detroit, with temperatures only in the 20s over the weekend. but we quickly warm it up. that's a look at your national forecast. now here's a look at the weather outside your window. sunshine today in birmingham, alabama, much more like it, after all that rainy weather we've seen lately. and also sunshine in texas. austin should be beaut
